I.S.R. Racing has confirmed it will enter a pair of Audi R8 LMS ultra cars in the Blancpain GT Series in 2015.

The Czech team made debut in the Blancpain Endurance Series at the Total 24 Hours of Spa in July and has vowed to return next year with a full-season effort in the championship.

“Endurance races have always excited me and the decision was taken with great enthusiasm. Ideas started to get into shape and we got the first Audi R8 LMS ultra in July,” team principal Igor Salaquarda said.

“Things evolved since then and now we devised a specific program for 2015 that will involve two Audi R8 LMS in the Blancpain Endurance Series and two in the Blancpain Sprint Series.”

I.S.R. Racing also confirmed its lineup for next month’s Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi today. The team’s Audi will be driven by Aditya Patel, Jiri Pisarik and Filip Salaquarda.

The decision to focus on GT racing means I.S.R. Racing’s World Series by Renault program has been cancelled with immediate effect.
