Fresh off a debut win in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup opener at Monza, Côme Ledogar will be making his Sprint Cup debut with Garage 59 at Brands Hatch this weekend.

The 24-year-old Frenchman will replace Craig Dolby in the No. 59 McLaren 650S GT3 and will team up with Martin Plowman in a one-off race.

The team did not exclude the possibility that Dolby could make a return to the championship in the No. 59 car later in the season.

“We have tested on this circuit and it suits our car well and the drivers we have in place are all more than competent to do the job,” said team manager Bas Leinders.

“It is great to have Côme on board for this weekend after the team worked so well in Monza however, we hope to see Craig back in the car later in the season.”

The lineup on the No. 58 Garage 59 McLaren remains unchanged, with Rob Bell and Alvaro Parente sharing the wheel.

Bell scored a Main Race podium with Attempto Racing-run McLaren at the British track last year.

Ledogar is currently in the Spa paddock, coaching Oleksander Gaidai in the Porsche Carrera Cup France.
