Andy Meyrick has signed with Team Parker Racing to race a Bentley Continental GT3 in the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the blue riband event of the Blancpain GT Series.

Meyrick will make his fifth appearance in the Belgian endurance classic, forming an all-British lineup with team regulars Ian Loggie, Callum MacLeod and Tom Onslow-Cole behind the wheel of the Pro-Am Cup entered No. 24 Bentley.

The Brit makes his return to the series after having driven for the factory works team in 2014 and 2015, finishing second in the standings on both occasions.

He also is well-known to the Team Parker Racing squad, having coached their British GT drivers this season.

“I know Team Parker well and I am looking forward to racing with them,” said Meyrick. “We have a great driver lineup and a great team behind us, so we are looking for a strong result.”

“Andy is very experienced in the Bentley and at Spa, and is the perfect fit for the team,” commented Team Parker Racing manager Stuart Parker.

“He’s proven his skill over the past few seasons with success in the Blancpain Endurance Series and we look forward having that knowledge on the team.”

The team is coming off an accident in the Paul Ricard 1000km last weekend, which saw the rear end of the No. 24 Continental GT3 sustain significant damage.
