JRM Group announced today MRS GT-Racing will field one Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 in the entire 2015 Blancpain GT Series.

The German squad will run a new 2015-spec Nissan in Pro Cup categories of the Blancpain Endurance and Sprint Series.

JRM factory driver Craig Dolby will share duties with young British driver Sean Walkinshaw, who made sports car racing debut behind the wheel of a Dragon Racing Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 in December’s Gulf 12 Hours.

“I couldn’t be more delighted with my decision last year to switch from single seaters to sports cars,” Walkinshaw said.

“The quality of the competition is very high, but the career options moving forward are infinitely better. I just can’t wait to go racing now.”

MRS GT-Racing meanwhile also confirmed a two-car entry for the ADAC GT Masters championship, with 2013 Nissan GT Academy winner Florian Strauss joining the team in the German series.

“It will be a busy year for the team with GT3 programs now confirmed both in the ADAC GT Masters and now the full Blancpain GT Series,” MRS team owner Karsten Molitor said.

“With three new Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3s though, with some very talented young drivers and our very experienced team behind them I’m very confident that we’ll be on the pace immediately.”

“This is exactly the kind of program that every professional racing driver dreams of. A great team, a great car and great races,” added Craig Dolby.

JRM Group will supply technical support for the team in both the Blancpain GT Series and ADAC GT Masters and JRM’s Partnership Manager James Walters was happy to confirm the programs.

“This is a very significant program for both JRM and MRS GT-Racing, it will give us the opportunity to display the capabilities of the 2015 version of the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 on one of the toughest stages of all,” said Walters.

“I’m completely confident that the new car, and the driver squad, will be more than equal to the task.”
