***Patrick Long has provisionally closed to within 60 points of championship leader Johnny O’Connell following his second Pirelli World Challenge victory of the season Saturday at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Long sits 4th in the standings behind Johnny O’Connell, Michael Cooper and Alvaro Parente.

***The pair of Cadillac ATS.V-Rs finished 11th (Michael Cooper) and 12th (Johnny O’Connell). A Cadillac spokesperson told Sportscar365 that the recent boost pressure reduction has cost the cars roughly 25 horsepower each.

***Andrew Palmer, who recorded a season-best second place result on Saturday, is fresh off his GT Asia debut last weekend at Korea International Circuit. Palmer and co-driver Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak finished 6th in Race 2 in their Absolute Racing Bentley Continental GT3.

***Palmer, along with Absolute Racing teammate Adderly Fong, will take part in the entire six-weekend GT Asia series in addition to their PWC commitments this year. There are no clashes between the two championships.

***PWC has yet to decide on the layout it will utilize next weekend at Lime Rock Park. Both Cadillac Racing and K-PAX Racing tested without the chicane last week and multiple teams are testing on Tuesday. It’s understood there could be concerns of GT3 cars catching too much air at Uphill without the use of the chicane.

***Porsche is developing a SRO kit for its GT4 Clubsport, to make it GT4 compliant. Porsche Motorsport North America President Jens Walther told Sportscar365 the kit is in the homologation process and should be ready by the end of July. Walther said a total of 75 cars have already been sold to customers in North America.

***The pair of Always Evolving Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3s are up for sale, with the Ian Willis-led AIM Autosport squad looking to replace the 2014-spec Nissans with latest-generation GT-Rs for 2017. Willis told Sportscar365 they hope to return to PWC, as well as expand to a potential IMSA GTD program with the cars.
