***Sean Rayhall is set for his Continental Tire Challenge debut, having joined Frank DePew in the No. 7 Rebel Rock Racing Porsche Cayman for the final two races of the season, with the plan for a full-season program in 2017. “I think this is one of the most competitive series, for sure, with a lot of good door-to-door racing,” Rayhall said.

***Rebel Rock could return to a three-car operation for the season-ending round at Road Atlanta next month. It’s understood the team is considering pulling out its Porsche 997 for the GS class.

***Joe Foster has been a late addition to the No. 99 Automatic Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4. It marks Foster’s first Continental Tire Challenge start since 2012. He has replaced Sebastian Landy, who was originally listed in the car for this weekend after his pole-winning run at VIR.

***Foster’s former teammate, Scott Maxwell, earned his record-extending 15th career Continental Tire Challenge pole of the season on Friday, and fifth of the season for the Multimatic Motorsports Ford Shelby GT350R-C.

***Muelhner Motorsports returns for its second race in the last three events, with Jeroen Bleekemolen and Peter Ludwig at the wheel of the team’s GS class Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Bleekemolen and Ludwig are coming off a runner-up finish in their last outing at Road America.

***There’s an all-new lineup in the No. 18 RS1 Porsche Cayman this weekend, in Dylan Murcott and Dillon Machavern. Phil Bloom and Andy Lally drove the car at VIR. The only other change since the last round is with Drake Kemper having replaced Ethan Low in the No. 34 Alara Racing Mazda MX-5.

***Ryan Eversley is not in the No. 93 HART Racing Honda Civic Si this weekend due to his Pirelli World Challenge commitments at Sonoma Raceway, therefore shifting the team’s lineup. Cameron Lawrence moves over to the No. 93 car alongside Chad Gilsinger, while Steve Eich pairs up with Kevin Boehm in the No. 92 Honda.
