Roush Performance/KohR Motorsports has announced that Nate Stacy and Kyle Marcelli will co-drive the team’s No. 60 Ford Mustang GT4 in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge next year.

The team debuted the 2017-spec Mustang GT4 at Daytona with a pole and first win t Sebring, going onto capture four poles, three wins, and five podiums this season.

“We are extremely excited about the pairing of Nate and Kyle,” said team principal Dean Martin. “We already have experience working with Nate since he has run with us in the past. We are looking forward to working with Kyle for the first time.

“I first met Kyle during a media conference after we both won our respective classes at Detroit Grand Prix. I’ve followed his success since then and am really looking forward to the 2018 season.”

Martin will be out of the driver seat for 2018 and focusing on the management and engineering.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Roush Performance/KohR Motorsports this year,” said Stacy.

“I am looking forward to having Kyle as my teammate for the season, he has been driving and performing at a very high level for years and I am excited to work together in 2018.

“I was able to run in two IMSA Continental Tire races at the end of 2017 and am happy to be able to run my first full season of IMSA in 2018.”

Marcelli added: “The team has a rich history of success on track, and of course a long standing relationship with Ford Racing. This consistency with the brand is extremely valuable.

“The GT4 platform has created a lot of excitement and new manufacture participation which is wonderful. I expect the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge to be a full grid of competitive GT4 manufacturers, teams and drivers.

“I have followed Nate’s career in recent years and I expect that we will work well together.”
