Kyle Marcelli will shift from Rebel Rock Racing to Mantella Autosport for the 2015 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, as he’ll share the No. 80 Mantella Camaro Z/28.R alongside 2014 teammate Martin Barkey in GS.

The young Canadian ran a full season of CTSC a year ago in addition to selected TUDOR United SportsCar Championship races in either a Prototype Challenge or GT Daytona Ferrari entry.

“The team has proven that they want to win races and there’s no question that they have the personnel and equipment to accomplish that goal,” Marcelli said.

“I worked with Martin in 2014; he takes his racing responsibilities seriously and puts forth a lot of effort both on and off track.

“Following our recent test, I enjoyed coming to grips with the Camaro, it’s a very different car than the Porsche. I look forward to the upcoming season and I expect the competition to be strong, so we will need to bring forward our best effort.”

The team has already completed a two-day test at Sebring this winter. The lineup for the team’s second car will be announced at a later date.
