The Porsche Cayman announcements in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge keep coming for 2016 with news that Next Level European will continue for a second season with two of the ST-spec Caymans.

James Clay’s team will have the same pairing of Dan Rogers and Seth Thomas in the team’s No. 38 car, with Greg Liefooghe joined by team newcomer Ari Balogh in the No. 83 car.

Balogh replaces Eric Zimmermann; Liefooghe and Zimmermann won at Sebring last season. Balogh steps up from club racing, where Liefooghe was his driving coach.

“We entered the Porsche program with maybe a misunderstanding of the status quo, but in 2015, we learned our Porsche race cars, and learned a bit about racing a Porsche as well,” Clay said.

“We now have the foundation to run these cars the way we run a car, and I think we will see some impressive results.”

The two Next Level Europeans continue alongside the two Bimmerworld BMWs in ST, with those lineups having been announced last month.

Meanwhile the Next Level European announcement follows other Cayman announcements in both GS and ST that have taken place the last couple months.
