SRO Motorsports Group has announced that the first-ever SRO GT4 World Final will take place as part of the Bahrain GT Festival alongside the FIA GT Nations Cup on Nov. 30 – Dec. 1.

The GT4 World Final will be open to entrants competing in any of the 12 GT4 series either organized by or supported by the SRO and will include Pro-Am (Gold-Bronze), Silver and Am driver pairings.

Sea freight to the event for all teams will be paid for by the SRO, in a move to encourage interest from all GT4 markets, in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.

Entries will be open to GT4 teams running in several series, including the GT4 European Series, Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge, British GT Championship and FFSA GT.

Sportscar365 understands that significant interest has already been received for the World Final.

Both will use the format of two 60-minute qualifying races followed by a main 60-minute event.
