Nick Boulle has been added as the third driver in Park Place Motorsports’ lineup for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup races, joining full-season pilots Patrick Long and Patrick Lindsey at the wheel of the team’s brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The former Rolex 24 at Daytona Prototype Challenge class winner was due to turn his first laps in the car during Tuesday’s Michelin On-Track Opportunity at Daytona International Speedway.

“There are way too many people to thank who have helped make this possible, and I can’t wait to reward them with an unbelievable and exciting year,” Boulle said.

“To say I am excited about what we have put together with Park Place Motorsports and Porsche for this year in the Michelin Endurance Championship is an understatement.

“Knowing I am slotted in alongside Patrick Lindsey, and Pat Long for the Rolex 24 is a dream come true.”

The team has yet to announce its fourth driver for the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, although Porsche factory driver Dirk Werner was at the wheel of the car on Tuesday.

“Nick is a great guy and a great driver which is why I’m happy to have him as part of our team this year,” Lindsey said. “I think he’ll fit in just fine and get up to speed quickly.”

Park Place has become the first U.S. customer to take delivery of the new-for-2019 GT3 contender, with up to seven of the cars expected for Daytona.
