The 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season draws to a close this weekend at Road Atlanta with the 20th anniversary Motul Petit Le Mans, which also doubles as the final leg of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.

Continental Tire Keys to the Race: 

Race: Motul Petit Le Mans

Track: Road Atlanta

Length: 10 hours

Entries: 39 cars spread across four classes: 10 cars (P), 3 cars (PC), 9 cars (GTLM), 17 cars (GTD)

Schedule:

Thursday, Oct. 5 (all times ET)
Practice 1 – 11:10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
Practice 2 – 3:15-4:15 p.m.
Practice 3 – 7:30 – 9 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 6
Practice 4 – 11:40 a.m. – 12:40 p.m.
CTSC Race – 1:50 – 3:50 p.m. (2 hours)
Qualifying –  4:20 – 5:50 p.m.

Sat, Oct. 7
Warm-up – 8:30 – 8:50 a.m.
Race –  11:05 a.m. – 9:05 p.m. (10 hours)

Driver Insight: “Road Atlanta is surprisingly technical with a lot of flowing portions. Drive Times: Minimum: 2 hours and 45 minutes for PC & GTD Silver/Bronze drivers;  Maximum: 6 hours and no more than 4 hours in any 6-hour period. Base Drive Time: 2 hours for PC/GTD, 45 minutes for P/GTLM

Tires: Continental Tire “Black” for P, PC and GTD. Multiple tire brands/compounds for GTLM

Pit Stops: 45-50 minute stint length for P, PC; 50-55 minutes for GTLM, GTD

Weather: Cloudy High: 80 F, 20 percent chance of rain
