The final livery for the DeltaWing has been revealed ahead of this weekend’s TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.

The Prototype class entry, which impressed during the Roar Before the Rolex 24 with times within three-tenths of the leaders, will be driven by Katherine Legge, Memo Rojas, Gabby Chaves and Andy Meyrick.

“The team has worked very hard and we’re very encouraged by the progress we’ve made,” said team manager Tim Keene. “I think we’ve given the drivers a good package.

“And we have a great driver lineup, with each one pushing the other – not just to be competitive, but also to do the right thing in the car. That’s part of my job, as well, to make sure that everyone knows the big picture.

“We’re not out there to win one lap; we’re out there to win a race. It’s about who runs the most laps, not about who does the quickest lap. No one is going to remember the pass you made at 3:00 am going into turn seven.

“There are going to be so many opportunities to make decisions and if you make a wrong one, you’ve just wasted an opportunity. The race is won by who finishes the most laps in 24 hours.”

The Elan-powered entry is one of 16 cars vying for top honors in the P class.
