The provisional entry list for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship pre-season December Test has been released, with 28 cars set to run at Daytona.

ENTRY LIST: December Test

A five-car field of new machinery will make up the Prototype class, consisting of three Cadillac DPi-V.Rs run by Action Express Racing and Wayne Taylor Racing, as well as a Mazda RT24-P and the Visit Florida Racing Riley Mk. 30 Gibson.

Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi and Filipe Albuquerque will run laps in the No. 5 Action Express Cadillac, while Dane Cameron, Eric Curran and a third TBA driver will drive the sister car.

Jordan Taylor, Ricky Taylor and Max Angelelli are listed in the WTR entry, with Visit Florida Racing planning to run Marc Goossens and Renger van der Zande.

Meanwhile, Mazda Motorsports has chosen to run a total of five drivers in just one RT24-P: Joel Miller, Tom Long, Tristan Nunez, Jonathan Bomarito and Spencer Pigot.

An eight-strong entry for GT Le Mans sees a pair of cars each for Corvette Racing and Ford Chip Ganassi Racing with expected lineups, as well as a single car each for Risi Competizione and BMW Team RLL.

Toni Vilander is the only driver listed in the Risi Ferrari 488 GTE, while the BMW M6 GTLM is set to be driven by John Edwards, Bruno Spengler and Martin Tomczyk.

Two Porsche 911 RSRs are listed under the Porsche GT Team banner, with new recruits Dirk Werner and Laurens Vanthoor joining Patrick Pilet and Michael Christensen.

The remaining 15 entries come from the GT Daytona class, including a pair of Audi R8 LMS run by Stevenson Motorsports and Land-Motorsport.

Four Lamborghini Huracan GT3s will also run, with cars entered by Ebimotors, Dream Racing, Konrad Motorsport and, following its announcement on Tuesday, Grasser Racing Team.

The two Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3s will be present, as will the SunEnergy1 car. CORE autosport and Manthey Racing will each test a Porsche 911 GT3 R, while Michael Shank Racing’s pair of Acura NSXs are also on the list.

In addition, Scuderia Corsa will bring the only Ferrari 488 GT3 in the field, while 3GT Racing returns with its new Lexus RC F GT3.

Prototype Challenge cars are not permitted to take part in the upcoming test, which runs from Dec. 13-14.
