Olivier Pla topped the time charts in a mixed-condition final practice session prior to qualifying for Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.

The PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports driver reeled off a 1:48.566 late in the 60-minute session, which started on a wet track and began to dry out, only for another rain shower to hit.

Pla’s Ligier JS P217 Gibson edged out the No. 5 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R of Christian Fittipaldi by 0.715 seconds.

Renger van der Zande was third in the No. 90 Visit Florida Racing Riley Mk. 30 Gibson, with the No. 70 Mazda RT24-P of Marino Franchitti fourth overall and in the Prototype class.

Tristan Vautier ended the session as the quickest GT car, pedaling his No. 75 SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 to a fast lap of 1:53.187.

Vautier’s time was nearly 1.5 seconds quicker than the pace-setting GT Le Mans class car of Laurens Vanthoor, in the No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR, with both cars believed to have switched to slicks late in the session.

The No. 38 Performance Tech Oreca FLM09 of Kyle Masson was again quickest in Prototype Challenge.

Qualifying gets underway at 11:40 a.m. ET.
