Porsche on Saturday has announced a three-year contract extension with CORE autosport for operations of its factory GT Le Mans class entries in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The successful partnership, which began in 2014, has delivered the German manufacturer multiple wins and championships, including overall victory in the 2015 Motul Petit Le Mans.

As part of the contract extension, the Rock Hill, S.C.-based operation will continue to run the Porsche 911 RSRs through at least the 2021 WeatherTech Championship season.
