The No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R led the way in the second and final practice session prior to qualifying for tomorrow’s Bubba Burger Sports Car Grand Prix at Long Beach.

Ricky Taylor reeled off a best lap of 1:14.336 in the 25-minute session, edging out the No. 55 Mazda RT24-P of Jonathan Bomarito by a hefty 0.621 seconds.

The No. 5 Action Express Cadillac was third, after a late-session spin by Christian Fittipaldi.

Oliver Gavin (GT Le Mans) and Bryan Sellers (GT Daytona) led the production-based categories, which saw drama from two cars.

The No. 93 Michael Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3 of Andy Lally sustained right-front damage after slapping the wall, while Patrick Pilet’s No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR also struck trouble, with right-rear suspension damage after a brush with the Turn 9 wall.

Qualifying for all three classes follows immediately.
