Sportscar365 caught up with a mix of drivers and officials Monday at Watkins Glen International, where IMSA held an exploratory test with the Ginetta-Nissan LMP3 car.
Mike Simpson is a Ginetta Cars factory driver who was first to test the car on Monday, Nick McMillen has had LMP3 experience in the Ginetta-Nissan in Europe, Jon Bennett, CORE autosport team principal and co-driver, was due to sample the car and Simon Hodgson, managing director, racing operations of IMSA, noted how Monday’s test was due to introduce the car to IMSA stakeholders.
