The game of musical chairs continues at Volkswagen Group, in the wake of its emissions scandal, with Porsche naming a new Chairman and member of the Executive Board on Wednesday.
Dr. Oliver Blume becomes the new Chairman, replacing Matthias Mueller, who was named Chief Executive Officer of Volkswagen AG last week, in the wake of the company’s corporate shakeup.
Additionally, Detlev von Platen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Cars North America, has been promoted to the Porsche Executive Board for Sales and Marketing, succeeding Benhard Maier, who takes on a new role as Chairman of Skoda.
Von Platen’s successor at PCNA will be announced in the near future.
