ARC Bratislava has confirmed its 2016 Asian Le Mans Series effort, which will see the Slovak team enter an Audi R8 LMS ultra for the four-round championship which kicks off next month in Fuji.

Team owner Miro Konopka will team with Pierre Kaffer for the opening round in Japan, with GT Asia driver Fairuz Fauzy joining the lineup beginning with the Sepang race in November.

The longtime Porsche squad will utilize an Audi from Hitsosuyama Racing, although Konopka has expressed initial concerns with the car’s Balance of Performance ahead of the Japanese round on Oct. 9-10.
