Dirk Mueller will take part in the Asian Le Mans Series this year, with the BMW factory driver having been placed with Team AAI for the opening two rounds of the new-look championship.

Mueller confirmed to Sportscar365 last week that he’ll be at the wheel of one of the Taiwanese team’s BMW Z4 GT3s, although his co-drivers have yet to be finalized.

Ollie Millroy was recently confirmed as one driver for the team’s effort, which will also include a LMP3 entry with the new ADESS-03.

The Asian LMS kicks off at Fuji Speedway on Oct. 9-10 as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship weekend, prior to a standalone round at Sepang on Nov. 6-8.
