The No. 29 Duqueine Engineering Oreca 07 Gibson has been excluded from Sunday’s Four Hours of Red Bull Ring due to a fuel irregularity, promoting the No. 24 Racing Engineering Oreca to second in the final classification for the European Le Mans Series round.

Series officials confirmed late Sunday that the Pierre Ragues, Nelson Panciatici and Nico Jamin-driven Oreca lost its runner-up finish following post-race scrutineering, when it was determined that a fuel sample taken “did not conform to the one indicated by the organizer.”

With the Racing Engineering Oreca now finishing third, it has also elevated the No. 22 United Autosports Ligier JS P217 Gibson to third the overall results.

G-Drive Racing scored victory in the race, in a come-from-behind win for Roman Rusinov, Andrea Pizzitola and Jean-Eric Vergne.

RESULTS: 4H Red Bull Ring (Revised)
