Gulf Racing is set to field a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 in the opening round of the European Le Mans Series this month, the 4 Hours of Silverstone.

In addition to its full season GTE effort with a Porsche 911 RSR, the British squad assigned Archie Hamilton, Daniel Brown, and gentleman driver Roald Goethe to driving duties in GTC with the Lamborghini.

With this new announcement, it appears that Goethe will be doing double duty in Silverstone. The German is slated to run a full season with Gulf Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s GTE-Am class.

“We are looking forward to the first round of the ELMS championship at our home track,” said Team Manager Matt Beers. “Alongside his WEC duties Roald will have a busy weekend of driving but we are hoping for podiums in both championships and both classes of the ELMS race!”

It is unclear whether the team plans to compete in any further ELMS races in GTC. The Gallardo in question ran successfully in the 2015 Dubai 24 Hours, placing fourth in the A6 Pro-Am class.
