According to a report in French publication L’Equipe, the two Frenchmen have joined forces for a LMP2 program with a Ligier JS P2 Nissan, with World Series by Renault front runners Tech 1 Racing to operate the effort.

A three-year commitment has been put in place, with Barthez the only confirmed driver so far. Panis is not expected to drive.

The team also plans to submit an entry request to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
