AAI Motorsports has launched its 24 Hours of Le Mans program this week in Taiwan, ahead of this weekend’s Test Day.

The Taiwanese team, which received two automatic invites for its participation in last year’s Asian Le Mans Series, has entered a pair of Porsches in the GTE-Am class, which include drivers Morris Chen and Jun-San Chen (pictured).

The launch party included the presence of Cyrille-Taesch Wahlen, the new manager for the Asian Le Mans Series, as well as the Karine Lima, the manager of the French Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan.

Alex Kapadia and Xavier Maassen will join Jun-San Chen in the team’s No. 67 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, while Mike Parisy and Gilles Vannelet will pilot the No. 68 Porsche 911 RSR.

The team will receive technical support from Rudi Penders’ ProSpeed Competition.
