Lago Racing topped the time charts in the three-hour Bronze Test on Tuesday ahead of this weekend’s Total 24 Hours of Spa.

The Reiter Engineering-run Lamborghini Gallardo R-EX of Roger Lago, Steve Owen, David Russell and Jonathan Webb reeled off a lap time of 2:21.854 in a relatively calm session that started off on a damp track.

Today’s Bronze test was mandatory for all Bronze-rated drivers as well as any Silver-rated drivers competing in Pro-Am or Am who had no previous experience at Spa. It was also open to cars competing in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe Series.

No Pro Cup-entered cars took part in the session.

The No. 53 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 of Ishikawa Motoaki recorded the second quickest time right at the end (+0. 435s), ahead of the No. 666 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3, which set the pace early on (+0.637s).

After posting the fastest time at the official test day earlier this month, the No. 30 Team Parker Racing Bentley Continental GT3 was fourth quickest around the Belgian track, being the fastest Am Cup car of the field.

The No. 76 IMSA Performance Porsche 911 GT3 R and No. 24 Team Parker Racing Bentley completed the top six, while the No. 74 ISR car was the first of the Audi R8 LMS GT3s in seventh.

Thirty six cars of the 65 entered for the race posted times.

The session was interrupted four times with red flags for minor incidents and spins, the last one bringing the session to a halt five minutes early.
