Next month’s European Le Mans Series’ season finale at Estoril won’t be the final race of the year for Pegasus Racing, as the French squad has confirmed an additional outing in the FIA World Endurance Championship in China. (En Français)

Pegasus will field a Ligier JS P2 Nissan in the Six Hours of Shanghai for David Cheng, Ho-Pin Tung and a to-be-announced third driver, marking the Julien Schell-led team’s debut with the Onroak Automotive-designed LMP2 coupe.

The car, which will run under the Pegasus Racing Team Total banner, is a continuing effort from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the pair of Chinese drivers were joined by Leo Roussel in the team’s Morgan Nissan.

Cheng has also been part of Pegasus’ full-season effort in the ELMS recently started his own team, DC Racing, for the Asian Le Mans Series.

The Six Hours of Shanghai is set for Oct. 30-Nov. 1.
