Reigning IMSA Prototype champion Ricky Taylor has been confirmed as part of Jackie Chan DC Racing’s lineup for next month’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Taylor will join Come Ledogar and former Le Mans GTE-Am class winner David Heinemeier Hansson at the wheel of the team’s No. 34 Ligier JS P217 Gibson, which is one of the Chinese team’s two auto-invite entries that will be operated by OAK Racing.

Team owner David Cheng, Nick Boulle and Pierre Nicolet, meanwhile, have been confirmed in the second Ligier.

Confirmation of the two DCR lineups came following the release of the finalized Le Mans entry list by the ACO on Thursday.

“For me, it’s a great opportunity,” said Taylor. “Obviously, to go back to Le Mans anytime is a big event. You never stop learning there, so to go back again with Jackie Chan DC is really exciting.

“It’s a proven team, and all the guys from Ligier and Onroak are involved. I think all the pieces are in place between the car, the driver lineup, the updates to the car and just the team behind it is very proven.

“For me, it’s probably the best shot I’ve had yet.”

It will mark Taylor’s fifth start in the French endurance classic and second consecutive in LMP2 following last year’s effort in Keating Motorsports’ Riley Mk. 30 Gibson.

The second-generation driver will face off with Acura Team Penske teammate Juan Pablo Montoya, who is set for his Le Mans debut in one of United Autosports’ Ligiers, also in LMP2.
