Toyota Gazoo Racing celebrated its victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Wednesday, with the winning Toyota TS050 Hybrid and trophy returning to Toyota Motorsport GmbH in Cologne.

Fernando Alonso, Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi took the No. 8 car to the historic win, in a commanding 1-2 finish for Toyota, which becomes only the second Japanese manufacturer to claim overall honors in the race.

The LMP1 hybrid, still in its race-winning condition, was unloaded at TMG during a company-wide celebration, which also saw the trophy added to its collection in the facility’s entryway.

A number of key staff, including LMP1 team president Hisatake Murata, TMG VP/technical director Pascal Vasselon and team director Rob Leupen were in attendance for the occasion.
