Creventic Releases 2019 Schedules

Creventic has revealed its 2019 calendars, featuring the launch of the 24H Series ‘Champion of the Continents’ and a dedicated European championship for GT and touring cars.

In all, the Dutch organization will host events in seven countries across three continents, including the return of the 24 Proto Series and previously announced new-for-2019 24H Series Middle East Championship, all powered by Hankook.

The 14th running of the 24 Hours of Dubai will kick off the new three-round ‘Champion of the Continents’ on Jan. 10-12, with teams able to select the best result from either the European Championship 24-hour races in Portimao or Barcelona for the second round, followed by the season-ending 24 Hours of COTA on Nov. 15-17.

A total of five races are scheduled for the European Championship, which begins with the 12 Hours of Mugello on March 29-30, followed by stops at Spa, Brno, Portimao and Barcelona.

After being successfully introduced this year, both championships will feature GT and TCE divisions with separate starting groups, which is expected to remain in place for the majority of races.

The 24H Proto Series, which has confirmed six-hour races at Dubai, Brno, Portimao and COTA, will introduce a P4 class, with GT cars also set to be eligible but not scoring points.

The recently announced 24H Series Middle East Championship, meanwhile, will feature races at Dubai and the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, in part of a condensed three-week schedule, which will also include the inaugural TCR Middle East series, which Creventic has been appointed as the organizer and promoter.
