The Hankook 24H Barcelona has reached the halfway point, with the Precote Herberth Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R of Alfred Renauer, Robert Renauer, Ralf Bohn and Daniel Allemann holding a two-lap lead over the Scuderia Praha Ferrari 458 Italia GT3.

Zandvoort and Paul Ricard winners Precote Herberth Motorsport had a trouble-free run so far, while other teams had had their share of bad luck.

The second placed Ferrari dropped down the order early on after refueling issues forced Scuderia Praha to make an extra stop.

24H Series points leaders Hofor-Racing are in third place overall at the halfway mark with its No. 10 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. The car is also leading the A6-Am class.

Pole-winners Barwell Motorsport led early in the race, but electrical issues and the following repairs cost the team six laps.

The No. 52 Lamborghini Huracán GT3, driven by Jeroen Bleekemolen, Joe Osborne, Mark Poole and Richard Abra lies fourth at the 12-hour mark, five laps behind the leading Porsche.

Americans Charles Putman, Charlie Espenlaub and Joe Foster and Dutch driver Xavier Maassen lead the 991 class with the No. 78 MRS GT Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

RESULTS: After 12 hours
