Grove Racing has finalized its driver lineup for February’s Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, as the team seeks to defend Class B honors in the around-the-clock endurance classic at Mount Panorama.

Porsche Supercup and TUDOR United SportsCar Championship ace Ben Barker returns to the wheel of the team’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car and will be joined by 2014 Class F winner Luke Youlden and team owner Stephen Grove.

“The Bathurst 12 Hour has been the talk of the paddock in all three series that I have raced in this year,” Barker said. “Part of what makes it very special is the fact that Europeans have to travel 24 hours to get there, making it a truly unique and worthwhile event.”

Youlden, who has 15 Bathurst 1000 starts under his belt, will be trading a Fiat Abarth for the team’s Porsche this time around as the 36-year-old goes for two consecutive class wins.

“To be a part of this year’s Fiat assault was great,” he said. “I did get a big appreciation for what racing is like in the slower classes with the old eyes constantly in the mirrors, but I’m looking forward to attacking the mountain in faster machinery next year.”

The Grove entry is one of ten cars entered in Class B, which is entirely made of up of Porsche Cup cars.
