Pierre Kaffer went fastest in the final session of the day in Monza, as teams prepared for the first qualifying session and three-hour enduro of the Blancpain Endurance season tomorrow.

After the Rinaldi Racing 1-2 in Free Practice, Kaffer put the No. 66 Ferrari on top in Pre-Qualifying by posting a 1:47.583, but wasn’t able to improve on Norbert Siedler’s time from earlier today.

The No. 52 AF Corse Ferrari of Adrien De Leener and Cedric Sbirrazzuoli ended the session in second, after a last minute attempt to beat the black Rinaldi Ferrari.

Wolfgang Reip was able to mingle between the Ferraris and went third fastest (+0.967s) in the No. 23 RJN GT Academy Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, ahead of the No. 11 Kessel Racing Ferrari of Alessandro Bonacini, and once again Laurens Vanthoor’s No. 1 WRT Audi in fifth.

Both brand new Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracáns improved considerably compared to Free Practice and posted the tenth (+1.396s) and eleventh (+1.516s) times.

The first of the new Audis (Phoenix) was P22, 1.961s off the pace.

The session was interrupted once to clean gravel off the track, while there were also two full course yellows for other small incidents.
