Only 15 cars are set to take part in this weekend’s fifth round of the Blancpain Sprint Series at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao.

Attempto Racing is no longer on the entry list, with the absence of the McLaren 650S GT3 of Kevin Estre and Rob Bell.

The German team already opted to swap its second McLaren for a Porsche for the Russian round at the beginning of July, and forfeited all its McLarens for the Total 24 Hours of Spa later that month.

ENTRY LIST: Portimao

This brings the number of manufacturers represented in the series down to seven.

JRM has replaced MRS GT Racing as the team running the sole Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3. The British squad was already strongly involved in the operation, supplying a service truck to all the previous rounds bar Moscow.

All driver lineups have remained identical, including the Nissan which still features Craig Dolby and Sean Walkinshaw behind the wheel.

Laurens Vanthoor and Robin Frijns lead the standing with their No. WRT Audi R8 LMS ultra, but after finishing fifth at Moscow Raceway their advantage has slinked to only 15 points on the Bentley Team HTP Continental GT3 of Moscow winners Vincent Abril and Maxi Buhk.
