Herberth Motorsport will enter a Porsche 997 GT3 R in the third round of the Blancpain Sprint Series at Zandvoort this weekend.

The addition of the German squad brings the entry up to a 21-car field for the Dutch round and the number of manufacturers from six to seven.

2013 ADAC GT Masters runner-up Robert Renauer will co-drive the Porsche with Dutch driver Jaap van Lagen. Both raced at Zandvoort during the second round of the ADAC GT Masters series last month.

Renauer secured pole position for the opening race in May, while Jaap van Lagen went on to win both races in extremely difficult conditions.

Herberth Motorsport is the second ADAC GT Masters team to join the Blancpain Sprint Series at Zandvoort. Last week BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert already confirmed it would enter a BMW Z4 GT3 at Zandvoort.
