Emil Frey Racing has confirmed it will continue to run its veteran Jaguar G3 in a four-round Blancpain GT Series program, as well as revealing the driver lineup for its pair of Lexus RC F GT3s.

The car, now in its sixth season, will compete in the three Endurance Cup rounds at Monza, Silverstone and Paul Ricard as well as the Misano Sprint Cup event.

Adrian Zaugg, Alex Fontana and Mikael Grenier will drive the car, classified in the new Silver Cup.

The team entered two Jaguars for the whole Endurance Cup last season.

“Today was a special day as we had the great pleasure of presenting our new workshop to many invited guests and informed about the upcoming season”, said team principal Lorenz Frey.

“It is always nice to see familiar faces ahead of the official start of the season. The Jaguar project is a matter truly dear to our hearts and we have put in a lot of work and pleasure over the last years.

“Therefore, we won’t miss out on the opportunity to compete in selected races this year. We are very excited ahead of the first race.”

Lexus Driver Lineup Revealed

In addition to the news of its returning Jaguar, Emil Frey Racing has also revealed the driver lineups for its pair of Lexus RC F GT3s.

The team announced last week it would run two Lexus GT3s in the series but has now announced the six drivers it has signed for the program.

Albert Costa, Christian Klien and Marco Seefried will pilot one car while Markus Palttala, Norbert Siedler and Stephane Ortelli will drive the other.

All six apart from former BMW factory driver Palttala drove the Jaguar in the series last year.

The team has not announced which four drivers will complete the full season and which two will be race in the Endurance Cup rounds only.
