Bentley will continue to be represented in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup this season, but with Team Parker Racing instead of the factory M-Sport squad.

The British team will run a single first-generation Bentley Continental GT3 in the five Sprint Cup events, running in the Silver Cup with Josh Caygill and Aron Taylor-Smith driving.

Both drivers are making their first appearances with both the team and manufacturer.

Caygill drove for Belgian Audi Club Team WRT in the Endurance Cup last year while Taylor-Smith will embark on his GT3 debut, moving from the British Touring Car Championship.

The team returns to Blancpain GT for the first time since 2016 after focusing on the British GT Championship last year, in which it won the GT3 drivers’ title with Rick Parfitt Jr. and Seb Morris.

“Following last season’s title-winning campaign with the Continental GT3 we are delighted to see Team Parker Racing now also representing Bentley in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup,” said Bentley Director of Motorsport Brian Gush.

“With M-Sport’s focus switching to the second-generation car’s development in the Endurance Cup and Intercontinental GT Challenge it was important that Bentley retained a presence in the shorter Sprint format, and Team Parker Racing’s proven experience of this in British GT made them ideal candidates.”

Bentley Team M-Sport will enter a pair of new-generation Bentley Continental GT3s in the Endurance Cup and remainder of the Intercontinental GT Challenge season.
