ARC Bratislava is the latest team to join the Intercontinental GT Challenge, having confirmed a Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the season-ending California 8 Hours at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

The Slovakian squad, which has previously competed in the Blancpain GT Series, will take on the Oct. 26-28 race with a single-car entry for team owner Miro Konopka and two yet-to-be-announced drivers.

It comes following the team’s apparent withdrawal from ACO-run championships after its Ligier JS P217 Gibson was placed on the reserve list for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

A return to the Asian Le Mans Series, where it has fielded LMP2 and LMP3 machinery in the past two seasons, remains unclear.

The team has since shifted its full-season focus to International GT Open, fielding a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 for Konopka and Latvian driver Konstantins Calko.
