An extra day of on-track action, on Thurs. Jan 31, has been added to the already confirmed Feb. 1-3 date for Australia’s international endurance event.

Additional Bathurst 12 Hour practice sessions will increase the level of preparation for teams and drivers from both Australia and overseas, while the additional day will also allow for a fourth support category to be added to the program, increasing the variety for fans attending the event.

Tickets for the 2019 event are now on sale.

“Adding a fourth day was the next natural step in the evolution of the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour,” said Event Director, Kurt Sakzewski.

“Any extra laps at Bathurst are priceless. Adding more track time will allow teams and drivers, especially our international contingent, more time to learn the circuit and its challenges, ultimately making for a better Sunday race.

“It also enables us to add a fourth support category which will give spectators and those watching online and on television more action and bang-for-their-buck.”

Early-bird ticket prices are now available and will be held at 2018 levels until June 27.
