Reiter Engineering has confirmed a full-time program for Dutchman Nick Catsburg in the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge season, and will run him under the Blancpain Racing banner.

Catsburg joined the Reiter team earlier this month. He’ll be in one of Reiter’s Lamborghini Gallardo GT3s, and has a wealth of experience from the Blancpain Endurance Series both with the TDS Racing and NSC Motorsports teams.

The new Lamborghini Gallardo Extenso R-EX has been developed over the winter, but the team did not specifiy whether Catsburg would race the new model car or the venerable Gallardo FL2, which raced last year in PWC.

Reiter Engineering raced up to three Lamborghini Gallardo FL2s last year in selected races.

Tomas Enge won overall in the season opener at St. Petersburg, while Albert von Thurn und Taxis and Marcelo Hahn both scored GTA class wins. Andy Lee also made his GT class debut with the team in the Miller Motorsports Park season finale.

No other drivers have been confirmed yet, but the Reiter Engineering team could run multiple cars again at various stages this season.

Prior to Catsburg’s confirmation, Reiter announced various programs – the Gallardo Extenso R-EX, SaReNi Camaro GT3 and KTM X-Bow – but had not confirmed a program for any of them.
