Question for a future podcast: In reference to the potential for TCR being added to Conti, or replacing ST all together, has there been any discussion about the speed differential? Creventic races (24H Series) is the only place I know where TCR & GT4 are on track together, and the TCR cars are faster! While I love the idea of GT4 & TCR, the fact that it would flip the overall to the opposite class, unless the TCR cars are significantly BoP-ped seems to me to be a big potential stumbling block. (In general, I’m against the idea of BoP-ping an entire class simply because it’s in a multi-class grid, whether it’s GTE & GT3 in WeatherTech or GT4 & TCR in Conti.)

Disregard the above, listening to quali for the 24H Paul Ricard made it obvious that the GT4s are in fact faster cars, but Creventic’s reference lap times pull them back behind the TCR cars.

Guys, thank you for engaging the fans!

    1. Do you think we could see Michael Cooper join any of the IMSA Caddy teams for an enduro?
    2. A podcast or two ago, you hinted at a new DPI manufacturer interested other than Honda you were researching. When will we know more about that program and an official announcement from Honda?

Have you thought about doing a paid subscription service for Insider info? This type of service is big with college football and the NFL. Brings in extra revenue for you and lets us get the latest information. Just something to think about.

Please don’t! It would take away value from the free service, which means less eyes on the site and less ad $.

Why isn’t Maserati more active in motorsport today? Was there any talk of making a GT3 version of the GranTurismo or interest in maybe DPI?

I’m attending my first Le Mans this year, and wondered if you had any tips for the regular spectator/avid photographer. I’m lucky enough to have been to the museum before, but never the race. I’ve got a stand seat on the pit straight to sleep (lol), and plan on going to as many places as I can possibly get to throughout the weekend. Do you have any do’s and don’ts for a novice?

    1. With COTA’s WEC contract reportedly up at the end of the year and its lack of commercial success so far, have there been any more talks of possibly having a round at IMS?

    2. Do you have any idea what sort of car count the SRO may be anticipating for the inaugural California 8 Hours at Laguna Seca?
