As part of its recent State of the Series address at SEMA in Las Vegas, WC Vision, in partnership with 4R Motorsports, announced the development and implementation of a new software app called Vision Tech.

The software is designed to streamline and create efficiencies with the overall competition/technical review process during race weekends.

The application covers all aspects of the technical process of scrutineering cars, drivers, pre-race inspections and post-race impound.

The Vision Tech app completely replaces the outdated and inefficient paper process allowing series race officials to better serve the drivers and teams.

With this new app the teams, drivers and officials get notified immediately by email rather than having to reference paper documents from race to race.

“At 4R Motorsports we are proud to partner with Pirelli World Challenge in the development of this new application,” said 4R’s Scott Kuhne.

“Having raced in the series for many years it is exciting to assist PWC and the series’ technical staff achieve a new level of service to the teams and drivers.”

Added Geoff Carter, Pirelli World Challenge Competition Director: “We are very pleased with how this app has turned out.

“With the continued growth of the series and the high level of technical prowess in the paddock, we felt like this was the next step to improve our process and deliver a high level of efficiency to the technical side of the business.

“We are committed to delivering the highest level of support to our teams and manufacturers and in turn our fans.”
