Following the confirmation that a-workx will field a new Porsche 991 GT3 R in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup this year, the team confirmed its driver lineup on Monday.
Reigning ADAC GT Masters champion Sebastian Asch will compete with Didi Gonzales in the Pro-Am Cup.
Gonzales has five years of experience in the Porsche Sports Cup Germany under his belt, where he raced a Porsche 997 GT3 R.
“We are happy to be back in a series organized by Stefan Ratel after a long time of absence and looking forward to an exciting year with the new Porsche 991 GT3 R,” said team boss Niko Wieth.
The team is also considering adding the Total 24 Hours of Spa to its schedule.
