Team Black Falcon has confirmed its plans to compete in the Blancpain Endurance Series and Nürburgring 24 Hours this season.

The German team, managed by Sean Breslin, will enter one car for Abdulaziz Turki Al-Faisal, Hubert Haupt and Andreas Simonsen in the Blancpain Endurance Series Pro Cup.

Haupt and Simonsen already raced together in the Black Falcon Mercedes in the 2013 Blancpain Endurance Series season finale at the Nürburgring.

A second car will be entered for Russian drivers Mikhail Loboda, Yury Loboda and Vladimir Lunkin. The trio drove the Mercedes for the first at the official test at Paul Ricard.

“Team Black Falcon is looking forward to the season ahead with great anticipation. 2013 brought a great amount of success and will be a hard act to follow,” said Breslin.

“But we have new drivers and new partners for 2014 and our target is for success in the Blancpain Endurance Series, with our first Pro entry and of course to defend the 24 Nüburgring win from 2013. Either way, it is going to be an exciting year ahead!” .

Black Falcon also confirmed six of the drivers that will race at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Jeroen Bleekemolen will join Andreas Simonsen and Christian Menzel in one SLS, Abdulaziz Turiki Al Faisal, Hupert Haupt and Adam Christodoulou will share the wheel of the second Mercedes.

Additional drivers for each car will be announced later.
