Oreca could have integrated an nsx look alike front end into the arx05. They didnt just didnt put enough effort into the design. Hopefully an update comes along.

So visit florida still has the Ligier it seems. Maybe the state sponsor came back and got them perhaps thinking of lemans.

……. or maybe they just did not get the Cadillac dpi. I doubt they will run the Ligier with last year‘s sponsor..

Hadn’t clicked through a gallery since the site redesign, works great now with arrow-keys integration and all. Good job Dagys & staff.

Now onto the photos themselves, I can’t help but feel excited about next year’s season on IMSA, I’ve been following sportscar racing since fairly recently compared to most people (2010-ish) and the list of names and teams and manufacturers for this year is incredible, I hope it delivers appropriately on track. The Acura/Penske car looks strange, but I appreciate a prototype that stands out.

Anyone with some clues on the purpose of those big ducts in the back of the M8? Do they funnel air out of the cockpit or something?

Maybe part of the air conditioning system, similar to the exhaust fan on the back of the Vette’s.

Diff/transaxle cooler. All the GT cars have them in the trunk.

Wonder if Caddy or ESM made any changes to their aero. I seem to recall last year Sharp or someone involved saying they would have revised bodywork this year to replace the rush job they pushed through last year.
