No pc class, no cautions. Not a coincidence.

    Thanks for posting this.

Since some of us were excluded from being able to watch the 24 Hours live streaming due to
IMSA’s bizarre arrangement with their host broadcaster, this will actually be the first look for
us underlings to see the race.

Here it is, 2018, we may watch the entire 24 Hours of Le Mans including practice, qualifying and
the 24 Hours itself live streaming for €10.00 and have been able to do so now for a few years running. For a slightly higher amount, we may watch the entire WEC live streaming as well. In face, we may watch every major sporting event from around the world live streaming but when it comes to watching IMSA races in these United States, nope. All we get is an apology for the inconvenience.

Recalling about ten or so years ago, Scott Atherton announced with much fanfare that all IMSA races
would be live streaming on the Internet. It worked for a while. But, I’m told that this new deal with
FOX where the race starts off on one channel, then moves to another, then moves to yet another like a game of musical chairs is so “new fans” may more readily access it.

Not sure what is in the drinking water in Daytonner these days, but the same thinking that has been driving NASCAR into the incoherent nonsense that it has become is now affecting our sports car racing.

With this logic in mind, how about when the next Daytonner 516 is broadcast, it starts out on one channel, then a half hour later moves to another channel, then an hour later to another channel that hardly anyone gets and back again all in the name of landing new fans?

What do we think would happen then huh?
