KohR Motorsports will return to a two-car Ford Mustang GT4 operation in this weekend’s Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season finale at Road Atlanta, with Parker Chase and Nate Stacy confirmed in the team’s second entry.

Stacy, who joined Scott Maxwell and Jack Roush Jr. in the team’s No. 59 Mustang in last month’s four-hour enduro at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, will move to its new No. 60 entry alongside fellow World Challenge competitor Chase, who makes his series debut.

“I am really excited to head to Road Atlanta,” Chase said. “To do so with KohR Motorsports and Nate Stacy makes the experience event better.

“Since my last race of the PWC season in Sonoma, I have been anxious to get back behind the wheel regardless of that being in race or test conditions.”

Friday’s Fox Factory 120 will mark the fist time the Dean Martin-owned operation has run two cars since Sebring in March, which saw Maxwell and Jade Buford claim the first victory for the new-for-2017 Mustang.

The Michigan-based team recently took delivery of its second chassis, after being loaned a car from Multimatic.

“With [Parker] and Nate behind the wheel and the experience of our talented team, we have a legitimate shot at a podium and victory which would be a great way to close out the 2017 racing season,” Martin said.

Martin will again not drive this weekend, electing to have 2016 Continental Tire Challenge champion Maxwell at the wheel of the No. 59 car.

A total of 13 GS class cars are entered for the two-hour race, alongside 18 ST entries.
