IMSA has released the preliminary entry list for next week’s two-day test at Daytona International Speedway, with 12 cars currently listed, and more expected over the coming days.

ENTRY LIST: Daytona November Test

PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports will headline the test with the new Ligier JS P217. The Gibson-engined car, an Onroak Automotive development chassis, will be driven by Tom Kimber-Smith, Jose Gutierrez and Mike Guasch.

All three drivers are expected to be part of the Bobby Oergel-led team’s 2017 race program, with three-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner the likely full-season pilot.

BAR1 Motorsports will enter an Oreca 09 FLM in Prototype Challenge, while GT Le Mans will see a single BMW M6 GTLM for BMW Team RLL, featuring Bill Auberlen, John Edwards and the team’s two new expected full-season drivers, Kuno Wittmer and ex-DTM ace Martin Tomczyk.

Both drivers are expected to replace Lucas Luhr and Dirk Werner in the full-season lineup, although BMW has yet to announce its 2017 roster.

The majority of the entries in the test will come in GT Daytona, with nine cars currently listed.

It includes a pair of Audi R8 LMS cars from Stevenson Motorsports and German-based Land Motorsport and three Lamborghini Huracan GT3s entered by Dream Racing, Paul Miller Racing and Italian squad Ebimotors.

A single Mercedes-AMG GT3 is listed for the new SunEnergy1 Racing team with drivers Kenny Habul, Boris Said and Tristan Vautier, with two Michael Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3 cars set to test with Mark Wilkins and Tom Dyer in addition to its previously announced four full-season drivers.

CORE autosport, meanwhile, will debut its Porsche 911 GT3 R with Colin Braun and Jon Bennett.

The two-day test kicks off on Tuesday. Additional teams from both the P class and GTLM are expected for next month’s test, which is mandatory for all new constructors and manufacturers.
