The Lexus RC F GT3 and Mercedes-AMG GT3 have been hit with weight increases ahead of next weekend’s Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park.

IMSA released Thursday the latest round of Balance of Performance adjustments, confirming a 15kg increase in minimum weight for the pair of 3GT Racing Lexus cars, as well as 10kg of additional weight for the Mercedes.

It comes following the first GT Daytona class victory of the season for Riley Team AMG last weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in a race that saw the 3GT Lexus entries dominate prior to off-course excursions.

Mario Farnbacher has replaced David Heinemeier Hansson at the wheel of the No. 15 Lexus for Lime Rock, with the Silver-rated Dane electing to skip the race but expected to be back behind the wheel for Road America.

In addition, the Ferrari 488 GT3 has been given a two-liter increase in fuel capacity, although no performance-related adjustments.

The only other BoP change for Lime Rock comes with the GT Le Mans class BMW M8 GTE, which has been given a slight increase in turbo boost levels and a one-liter fuel increase.

It comes after a power reduction to the BMW Team RLL-run entries in the lead up to CTMP.
