Daniel Morad is set to complete Montaplast by Land Motorsport’s lineup in next month’s Motul Petit Le Mans, in the team’s return to IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition.

Sportscar365 has learned that Morad will join Christopher Mies and Sheldon van der Linde in the German squad’s No. 29 Audi R8 LMS for the ten-hour enduro.

Mies, van der Linde and Connor De Phillippi claimed GT Daytona class honors in last year’s race.

The Canadian, who is listed with Land on IMSA’s testing declaration list, replaces Alessio Picariello, who was initially slated to drive but was dropped from the team’s ADAC GT Masters lineup earlier this year.

Per IMSA’s list, all three drivers are due to test at Road Atlanta on Sept. 25-26 in preparation for the race.

Morad, a Silver-rated driver by the FIA, took part in the majority of the Pirelli World Challenge season before parting ways with CRP Racing in August.
